Caramoan
Camarines Sur, Bicol

The Caramoan Islands, located at the easternmost part of Camarines Sur in the Bicol region, are a popular destination in the Philippines, renowned for their pristine beaches, powdery white sands, aquamarine waters, and stunning limestone formations.

Our Experience

We were a group of six visiting the beautiful Caramoan Islands. We booked a 2-day, 1-night package through a travel agency. After a long journey from Manila, we arrived at our hotel in Caramoan around 2 PM. Lunch was ready upon our arrival, and the delicious dishes satisfied our hungry stomachs. Eager to explore, we set off for island hopping by motorboat. When we arrived, we found the island somewhat crowded with tourists.

We also climbed a cliff that led to a hidden lagoon, where we discovered an enchanting milkfish. Our tour guide told us that a local villager once caught this milkfish's mate and fed it to his family. However, the villager tragically died shortly after. Since then, no one has dared to catch another milkfish from the lagoon.
